NIKON D7500

The Nikon D7500 has an in-camera lens distortion correction feature that allows you to correct distortion, chromatic aberration, and vignetting directly in the camera. Here’s how to enable it:

  1. Press the “Menu” button on your camera.
  2. Navigate to the “Shooting Menu” (camera icon).
  3. Scroll down to “Lens Correction” and select it.
  4. Choose “Enable” to turn on the lens distortion correction feature.
  5. Use the “Distortion Control” option to correct any barrel or pincushion distortion that may be present in your images.
  6. Use the “Peripheral Illumination Correction” option to correct any vignetting that may be present in your images.
  7. Use the “Chromatic Aberration Control” option to correct any chromatic aberration that may be present in your images.
  8. Once you have made your corrections, press the “OK” button to save your settings.

Note that the in-camera lens correction feature only works with Nikon lenses that have been specifically designed to be compatible with the feature. If you are using a third-party lens, you may need to use post-processing software to correct lens distortion.
